| Patricia Breuer's lifelong
love of collies began when she acquired her first rough collie, named
Lance, as a teenager. She started first with
obediance training, and earned Companion Dog (CD)
and Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) certificates with her collies. |
Patricia Breuer later became interested
in collie
conformation, and has
been raising beautiful collies ever since. When her
husband's company transferred her family overseas in the late 1970s,
she
continued to raise and show collies at the international shows in
Europe. Her male blue merle, Winover Scan the Sky, earned his
International Chanpionship, winning shows in Switzerland, France,
Italy, the Netherlands, and Hungary, where he was Best in Show over
approximaterly 1,500 entries. Today Patricia Breuer raises collies derived primarily from the Tartanside line established by John Buddie. One of her early successes, CH Tartaniside Destination, went on to win "special" classes against other champion collies. "Destry" repeatedly won Best of Breed and Best of Variety, and placed 3rd and 4th in the Herding Groups. "Destry" later retired, and lived out his golden years at home -- May he rest in peace. Patricia Breuer has two excellent champion studs, with classic collie expression, sound structure, excellent temperament, natural ears, and proven ability to sire high quality puppies. CH Winover Shadows in the Sky, a blue merle male sired by CH Tartanside Winover Warlock, quickly earned his championship, received an Award of Merit at the 2007 Collie Club of America National Specialty, and has won numerous Best of Breed awards and placed in Herding Group classes. Like his sire, this dog has it all -- a beautiful classic collie head and expression, great structure and bone, and natural ears.. CH Winover Debonair is a gorgeous sable male bred by Patricia Breuer that also quickly earned his championship. He too has proven that he can sire show quality puppies. |
